Magic Bullet or Ninja Blender

For your convenience, this Magic Bullet Vs Ninja Blender has been divided into different categories:

Motor Power

With the Magic Bullet you will be getting a motor power of 250-watt with a horse power of 0.34. Along with this, the Magic Bullet can provide a rotation/minute of 2000 RPM. On the other hand, with the Ninja Blender, first of all you are getting 2000 RPM which is the same as the other one. But, the motor power of this one is 900-watt with 1.2 horsepower which is quite impressive.

So, if you are into heavy duty cooking and a smoothie-junkie, then Ninja will be the better option for you. But if you are worried about the power consumption and want a blender to blend small quantity of ingredients, then go for the Magic Bullet.

Usability

Unlike other blenders, the beauty of both Magic Bullet and Ninja Blender is that they are very easy to use. The simple design is a great pro for both. But still, when it comes to usability, there is a major difference which cannot be denied. With the Magic bullet you are getting hassle free no touch buttons. Whereas, the Ninja has touch buttons (speed with Pulse technology).

So, with the Magic Bullet you can just hook up the cup with the ingredients and push the top down in order to start the blending process. Whereas, Ninja gives you the option to select the speed to blend the ingredients. The Magic Bullet, in this case, will get the job done faster as it will cut down cooking time. But, the fact cannot be denied that with Ninja you can multi-task.

Look

Both the blenders are sleek in design and have a very modern look with high torque power base. The Magic Bullet comes in a sliver color and in bullet like shape, whereas the Ninja blender comes in both silver and black with a more geometric shape. The materials made to make both the blenders are BPA free which is a great plus point for both. Besides, it is important to mention that the materials of both are durable also.

Size and Weight

When it comes to picking a blender, the size of the blender plays a huge part. Even if you have a big kitchen, a compact and lightweight blender not only brings a certain aesthetic feel but will help to save storage room.

The dimension (LxWxH) of the Magic Bullet is 13.2×6.9×10.6 inches, whereas the Ninja Blender is about 12.9×7.9×14.8 inches. So, both of the blender is almost of the same size. The deciding factor here is definitely the weight of both the blender. The Magic Bullet is about 4.7 pounds, whereas the Ninja Blender is about 8.2 pounds.

Capacity

The main reason for the sudden popularity of both of these blenders are the fact that they are great for making smoothies, juices, sauces and such others; helping a person to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you are looking for a blender that can produce a good amount of blended ingredients to not only maintain a healthy lifestyle, but also to get the cooking done quickly, then go for the Ninja Blender. This is because; the blender pitcher capacity of Ninja is 24 oz, whereas the Magic Bullet has only 16 oz.

Accessories

First let’s talk about the Magic Bullet. With this choice you will get 2 cups with 8 oz capacity each and 1 short cup with 12 oz capacity. Other such accessories include; Four party mugs with four colored lip rings, 2 re-sealable lids (stay-fresh) and 2 shaker-steamer tops. Besides, you will get 2 stainless steel blades. One cross and one flat for all your chopping, shredding, grinding and blending needs.

For the Ninja Blender, besides the blender base, you are getting 3 mixing cups with lids. The 3 cups comes with the capacity of 12 oz, 18 oz and 24 oz. The blade for this blender is the pro extractor blade that will take care of all the chopping, shredding, grinding and blending needs.

Cleaning

Both the blender is dishwasher safe, so there will be no trouble when it comes to cleaning the blenders. From the cups to the blades to the attachments, all are made dishwasher safe. But, here it is important to mention that the engine base is not dishwasher safe and should only be cleaned with a paper towel or old rag. Even if you do not have a dishwasher, you can clean them under the sink. But in that case, the Ninja Blender will be easier to clean as it has got less parts and is wider in shape.

Drawbacks

Even though both the blenders have a good reputation, they do come with certain flaws. Here the different flaws/cons have been discussed to fully discover which blender will be the best choice for your needs.

According to many users, the Magic Bullet sometimes have spillage issues when you are blending something. There is one reason for it and that is the fact that the pitcher is small in comparison. This can be easily avoided if proper amount of ingredients is taken, and if you hold the blender down properly.

Whereas, for the Ninja Blender, users have claimed that they didn’t like the fact that you have to hold the jar over the blender for it to work. But then again, as the blender is quite easy to use, so you have to hold it for few seconds only.
